The core Resource team has over 50 years of publishing between them, from launching luxury lifestyle titles in Barbados and in Marbella, Spain, to working with companies like Virgin Atlantic, Eurostar, Time Out and Visit London to launch exciting corporate publications. Over the years, their freelance talents have graced the pages of magazines as diverse as British Airways High Life, The European, Tatler, Elle, The AA Magzine and The Dorchester Group Magazine.
Here’s just a little about some of our team:
Rachel Seed, Publishing Director

Rachel is Resource’s Publishing Director. Rachel’s very international upbringing included stints in Florida, Marbella, London, Athens and finally Gloucestershire, the place she is delighted to call home once again. Her career has been equally diverse – from developing property in Bath, owning designer boutiques, running a concierge and lifestyle management business in Marbella and being at the helm of the reknowned Caché Magazine – her love of all things high-end and gorgeous is clearly evident and her passions are reflected in the pages of Resource.

Lisa Richards, Editorial Director

Lisa has over 12 years of publishing experience under her belt – from websites for the likes of Comic Relief and Primelocation.com, to magazines and content for Elle, Time Out, British Airways’ High Life, Manchester Tourist Board, Visit London, The Dorchester Group, The AA and even S Club 7! An eclectic mix indeed. She has worked on the luxury lifestyle title Caché in Marbella and Barbados for the last four years, and how now recently moved back to the UK to launch Resource. The reason for moving back to Gloucestershire? “The countryside, the people, Waitrose (no, really), the organic food movement, Alex James’s cheeses and Daylesford. Plus, Gloucestershire is the place to be right now. Forget London, the Cotswolds is where it’s at.”
Lisa in her own words: “I’m an Editorial Director by trade, and a lover of all things luxurious. From five-star hotels to all-business-class airlines; from gorgeous gadgetry to iconic designers; from groundbreaking modern architecture to gastronomic pleasures. I love to write and I love to share beautiful things with discerning people.”

If I could buy just one thing right now it would be: “I don’t need one, but I would love an iPhone. My BlackBerry is looking horribly old-fashioned. Oh, and a lovely pair of hand-crafted leather boots. And some Hunter wellies. And a cashmere scarf would be nice, too.” One thing, Lisa.
Christian Tate, Art Director

Christian is an Art Director who has – literally – shaped the look of modern magazines. For over 15 years Christian has been working for the publishing world’s big-hitters to create a style that is uniquely his own. As well as working as a designer with the likes of Harpers, Time Out, Tate Modern, the South Bank Centre and Sony, Christian is also an illustrator, photographer and occasional writer.
Christian in his own words: “I don’t say much, but I do lots.”
Christian likes: Attention to detail.

Jake Riley, Photography
The Resource team would like to extend their deepest sympathies to the family of Jake Riley, who tragically left our lives on 12 March 2008. We miss you horribly.
1970-2008.
Rest in peace, Jakey.

Jake has recently moved back to the UK from southern Spain where he spent his time recording the antics of the super-rich at Race Resort Ascari, being flown by private jet to Monaco for Formula 1 events and photographing the homes of the very rich and very famous. Every night was party night for Mr Riley.
Jake in his own words: “An affectionate spontaneous, simple, loyal, naughty, confused, random, serene, cheeky, confused dreamer who is always happy and gay!”

If I could buy just one thing right now it would be: “A flight on the first Virgin Galactic trip to space or a canary yellow Lambo Gallardo.”
Nick Clarke, Features Editor

Nick is (annoyingly for the rest of us) by far the youngest of the Resource team. But don’t be fooled by his boyish good looks and cheeky grin; Nick’s talent, intellect and sharp wit make him an invaluable and much loved member of our editorial panel. Since graduating with a degree in English Literature and Media, Nick has thrown himself into a career writing about the things he loves most: travel, fashion, interiors and all things stylish. His unique and quirky writing style has meant that he’s found himself in demand from some of the globe’s most popular and well-known publications and we are pleased to have snapped him up for Resource.
Nick likes: Travel; Music; Writing; Clothes; New experiences; Restaurants; Nightclubs.
Nick dislikes: Uninspired people; Badly written magazines; Slow service in restaurants; Injustice in any way, shape or form.

Grant Parker, Motoring Correspondent

Legend has it that Grant Parker’s mother went into labour on the back seat of the family’s Bentley on the M5 between Exeter and Bristol. He reckons it was the smell of the leather and petrol that kick-started his love affair with fast cars from a very, very early age. The Rt. Hon. Parker is based in Marbella, but travels all over Europe on behalf Resource, test driving some of the hottest new motors to hit the market. It’s a tough job, but we think he’s just the man for the job. As Motoring Editor for Caché, based in Marbella in southern Spain, Grant flung himself around Ascari, raced the F430 up and down The Golden Mile, played Bond in an Aston, put a classic Triumph Stag through its paces (complete with a pencil moustache that he’d grown especially for the assignment!) and test drove all of Land Rover’s newest releases (pictured above, with his own prop!). Known to get into the spirit of things, expect not only candid reviews in the coming months, but with the added bonus of some intriguingly styled shoots!
Grant likes: Cheese; Jermyn Street; Breakfast at The Wolseley; Sophia Loren; Everything fast and expensive (that includes Sophia Loren).
Grant dislikes: Vegetarians; Lefties; Pound shops; Being told what to do.

Liz Hatton started her career in the travel industry for BA and Virgin Atlantic before moving to Sony Music where she spent five years in marketing, organising travel and events for Sony’s staff and artists. Realising that events were her real passion, she moved to a position heading up the events team for a five-star London venue. Wanting a more creative role she moved to a production agency where she delivered celebrity-studded parties for high-profile individuals. She has spent the last few years working for a leading events agency managing accounts for Philips, Toshiba, General Motors and Tesco and is now a freelance project manager working with a cross-section of agencies and corporates. Liz is invited to every party that matters and with enviable contacts within the music, events and travel industries, she’ll give Resource the inside-track in our regular features about the Capital.

Henry is our blue Great Dane and official Office Pooch. 18 months old and full of mischief, he’s the perfect distraction from an impending deadline. Having grown up in Spain, he’s adapting to Gloucestershire life beautifully. He especially likes walks in the countryside chasing pheasants followed by a pint in a country pub with a roaring log fire.
Henry likes: Walks in the countryside; Foie gras; Licking yoghurt pots; Scrambled eggs; Squeaky toys; Distracting the Resource team from their duties.
Henry dislikes: Water; Rain; Little white dogs; Cats; Being made to walk on his lead like a good boy; Being dressed up for photo shoots.
